PERFORMING THIS WEEK ON FEARLESS MUSIC -SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13th , 2008 @ 12:30A.M

METRIC Performing: "Dead Disco"
During 2004-2005, Canadian rockers Metric were hard at work touring throughout North America, Europe and Japan. They also managed to make a cameo in Oliver Assayas¹ 2004 ³junkie drama² film ³Clean². In January 2006, they even opened two shows for The Rolling Stones at Madison Square Garden in NYC. Singer Emily Haines has a one of a kind voice, and Metric¹s live performance is not to be missed. Their album ³Live It Out² is the follow up to their 2003 debut, ³Old World Underground, Where Are You Now². Metric¹s latest releases are ³Grow Up and Blow Away² and ³Metric: Live At Metropolis² DVD and CD.

UNEXPECT Performing: "Summoning Scenes" Only two words can describe this sextet of Montréal, Canadians: f--king awesome! Unexpect formed in the late 1990¹s, and plays very eclectic sounding music, that combines such genres as metal, gothic, opera, electro and classical. Their live show has high energy and excitement (9 string bass, violin, female contemporary dancer turned singer, etc). In 2004, they were signed to The End records, and released their debut album ³In A Flesh Aquarium². They¹re currently on tour with label mates Sigh. Check out Unexpect playing at B.B Kings in NYC next Tuesday night, September 16. They¹re definitely not a band to be missed live.

THE CRIBS Performing: "Hey Scenesters" The band The Cribs, featuring brothers Ryan, Gary and Ross Jarmen, was formed in 2002 in the UK. They have been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine as having one of the '100 best tracks of 2007 in the US.' The Cribs have shared the stage with the Sex Pistols , The Ting Tings and Joe Lean and The Jing. A recent addition to The Cribs is former The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr . Be sure to pick up their 2007 release ³Men¹s Needs, Women¹s Needs, Whatever².

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN Performing: "Setting Fire To Sleeping Giants" DEP began in 1997, and throughout the years have gained and lost members. The only original member is guitarist Ben Weinman . DEP¹s loud, aggressive music belongs to a sub genre of metalcore called mathcore. In 2000, they were without a singer, and had a nationwide search to find a new vocalist. In 2001, Greg Puciato was discovered, and to this day is Dillinger¹s singer. The Dillinger Escape Plan¹s most recent album is ³Ire Works², out now on Relapse Records.

HONEST THOMAS Performing: "Horsey Payment Plan" This former Boston band recently made the move out to San Francisco, CA. Honest Thomas combine heavy riffs and vocals, and have a high energy live show not to be missed. Influences include The Mars Volta and Incubus. Honest Thomas are currently in the process of writing music for their second EP. .
