The Mad Caddies stand alone in their latest musical achievement. Combining elements of rock and roots reggae that evokes memories of the Clash, the Police and Sublime, the upcoming record Keep It Going takes the listener on a musical journey from lively Jamaican dancehalls to the underground DIY music venues of America. Keep It Going, the band..s 5th full length record, hits streets May 1st, 2007 and will certainly prove to be the definitive record of the Mad Caddies.. successful career. Grammy award winning producer, Wayne Jobson (No Doubt, Gregory Isaacs, Toots & The Maytals), was brought on to help produce the album, and reggae legend Duckie Simpson (Black Uhuru) joined the Mad Caddies to sing on a cover of Delroy Wilson..s reggae classic ..Riding For a Fall…

The Mad Caddies.. talents reach far beyond the boundaries of ska and punk, enabling them to throw a musical curve ball into the mix without notice. Reggae, dixie, jazz, surf, rockabilly, country and swing are all styles in which the group is well versed and aren..t afraid to inject into their unique brand of rock.

The band has toured the U.S., Europe, Canada, Australia and Japan countless times, including stints on ..97, ..98, ..00, ..03 Warped Tours and both the Euro and American Fat Tours of 2000. Between all this time on the road, the Mad Caddies have managed to release an EP, a live record, and three other full lengths on Fat.

After a year of tirelessly crafting the new album “Keep It Going”, the Mad Caddies are ready to take this show on the road. They kick it off with a full two-month US tour with Pepper, immediately followed by six weeks in Europe. The Mad Caddies will be on the road the majority of the next 12 months, looking for new audiences everywhere from Mexico and South America to South Africa and Moscow!!

Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Straylight Run, and many others have been born into notoriety out of the Long Island scene. Just as it looked like all hope was lost and every band was becoming faded carbon copies of one another, Long Island‘s latest export, THE SLEEPING, comes along to shake things up and insert sincerity and originality back into underground rock. Punkbands.com said “[THE SLEEPING is] varied and interesting, hitting every genre from prog rock to hardcore, back to a pop sound and then off the wall to ambient party sounds with layered, ghostly vocals.”

THE SLEEPING formed in/around Long Island, NY in 2003, with founding members Salvatore Mignano (bass) and Cameron Keym (guitar) wanting to try something new and different from their days in the band SkyCameFalling. They hooked up with Joe Zizzo (drums) and started writing songs that drifted from musical conventionality, intermingling well calculated choruses amidst multitudes of cleverly positioned technical guitar work. The band set out to find a front man for their new collaboration and, after auditioning twenty-two potential singers, came across Doug Robinson. Doug says of joining the band, “We are all brothers. We know each other in and out. Our personalities are so different yet similar, they are my best friends. We all have the same goals: to spread our music all over the planet and let people know it’s okay to attempt something different.”

For three years now, THE SLEEPING has been writing forward-thinking, dynamic, multi-faceted songs that are as infectious as they are innovative. After they released their first full length album Believe What We Tell You (OneDaySavior, 2004), Chicago’s Victory Records immediately took notice of the band and their ever growing fan base and hard worth ethic. Shortly thereafter, Victory signed THE SLEEPING to its roster. Perhaps the breaking point for the band was the tour that they did with Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, and Matchbook Romance in October of 2004 where their national buzz really started bubbling over.

The Sleeping hit the studio in February 2006 with Michael Birnbaum and Chris Bittner at Applehead Studios (Coheed and Cambria, Straylight Run) to record their Victory debut, Questions and Answers (2006). These songs are packed with undeniable hooks and contemporary textures, but their sonic landscapes are a lot like atmospheric and progressive bands from the 90’s like Incubus and At The Drive In. Doug Robinson, vocalist, said, “Our influences are really, really all over the place. We listen to everything from Nine Inch Nails to The Police to The Mars Volta. Somehow we were able to take four diverse musical opinions and craft them into one interconnected album.” From breakdowns to bongos, Questions And Answers forges its own path and has a lot of depth that is often neglected by many fledgling bands.

Lyrically, Questions And Answers touches on some very heavy-handed issues such as dealing with the untimely death of a friend, failed relationships, and lost love. Doug said, “This record released a lot of demons in all of us, but at the same time, it definitely fueled some sort of a fire within us. It’s hard to be satisfied when things get taken away from people so unexpectedly.” Questions And Answers is an undeniably moody record and was titled as such to remind the listeners to question themselves and their surrounding environment.

In support of their release, THE SLEEPING went on a non-stop touring schedule, participating in the 2006 Victory Tour alongside Bayide, Aiden and theAudition, and the Nintendo Fusion Tour later that year with Hawthorne Heights, Relient K, Emery and Plain White T’s. Since then, THE SLEEPING has shared the stage with everyone from Silverstein, Senses Fail and I Am The Avalanche to From Autumn To Ashes, A Day To Remember and Envy On The Coast. And this winter, they will be joining Funeral For A Friend for another U.S. tour.

Reel Big Fish was one of the legions of Southern California ska-punk bands to edge into the mainstream following the mid-’90s success of No Doubt and Sublime. Like most of their peers, the band was distinguished by their hyperkinetic stage shows, juvenile humor, ironic covers of new wave pop songs, and metallic shards of ska. The group cultivated an underground following that broke into the mainstream in summer 1997, when their single “Sell Out” became a modern rock radio and MTV favorite. Reel Big Fish’s popularity gradually waned in the subsequent years, following the decline of ska-punk as a marketable genre. Nevertheless, the band restructured its lineup and continued issuing new material to a smaller (yet considerably rabid) fanbase.

Based in Huntington Beach, CA, Reel Big Fish was originally a trio comprised of vocalist/guitarist Aaron Barrett, bassist Matt Wong, and drummer Andrew Gonzales. At that stage, the group was a conventional rock band with pop-metal leanings that covered both classic rock and Top 40 songs — essentially, it was music designed for frat parties. After several months, the band discovered ska and decided to bolster its lineup with the addition of horn players. Reel Big Fish had a difficult time maintaining a stable horn section, and it took several years before their final lineup — featuring Tavis Werts (trumpet), Scott Klopfenstein (trumpet, vocals), Grant Barry (trombone), and Dan Regan (trombone) — fell into place.

This definitive incarnation of Reel Big Fish recorded its self-released debut album, Everything Sucks, in 1995. Everything Sucks became a word-of-mouth underground hit in ska-punk and college circles, which gave the band enough leverage to sign with the indie label Mojo Records. The label’s president, Jay Rifkin, and former Oingo Boingo bassist John Avila co-produced Turn the Radio Off, which marked Reel Big Fish’s first album for Mojo. Turn the Radio Off was unleashed in August 1996, and over the next year, the group continually toured in support of the album’s release, expanding their fan base all the while. In spring 1997, the single “Sell Out” began receiving heavy airplay from several influential modern rock stations in the U.S., which soon translated into MTV support for the song’s quirky video. By summer, the song had become a moderate modern rock hit, and the album had charted in the Top 100. In July 1997, Reel Big Fish released the Keep Your Receipt EP, which contained “Sell Out” and several outtakes, new songs, and live cuts. Why Do They Rock So Hard followed a year later, and in early 2000 the band returned with a reissued version of Everything Sucks.

The guys wound up on Jive Records in fall 2001 when their current label, Mojo, was bought by Jive’s parent label, Zomba. Reel Big Fish’s first release for Jive, a rock-oriented record entitled Cheer Up!, appeared in mid-2002. Years of touring followed, during which the band shared stages with the likes of Sum 41, Catch 22, Lucky Boys Confusion, the Matches, and Zebrahead. Replacement drummer Carlos de la Garza (formerly of Suburban Rhythm) eventually decided to leave the lineup, and his last show with the group was recorded live at Anaheim’s House of Blues in June 2003. A DVD of that performance, The Show Must Go Off, was released by the end of the year, and the band’s next album, the cynical yet catchy We’re Not Happy ‘Til You’re Not Happy, was issued in April 2005. By this time, the group’s lineup had shifted to include Barrett, Regan, Klopfenstein, Wong, new trumpeter John Christianson, and drummer Justin Ferreira (who was later replaced by Ryland Steen).

Touring continued for the rest of the year, and Reel Big Fish happily parted ways with Jive in January 2006, having wished to be dropped from the label since Cheer Up!’s release. A co-headlining tour with MxPx followed that summer, allowing Reel Big Fish the chance to gain their footing as an independent band. In August, the group self-released a double-disc live CD (along with an accompanying DVD) titled Our Live Album Is Better Than Your Live Album. A few months later — and much to the annoyance of the band — Jive issued its own Reel Big Fish album, a best-of compilation entitled Greatest Hit…and More. Reel Big Fish received no money from the album’s sales, as Jive Records now owned the rights to the bulk of their songs. Nevertheless, the band returned with some new material in February 2007, splitting an EP (Duet All Night Long) with their friends in Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer. Monkeys for Nothin’ and the Chimps for Free followed several months later, marking Reel Big Fish’s first full-length studio release since leaving Jive’s roster, and 2009’s Fame, Fortune and Fornication found the band covering songs by the likes of Poison, Slade, and Tom Petty.

The Bouncing Souls are a punk rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey formed in 1987. By the time of their acknowledgment by the national punk rock scene, they had reignited a “pogo” element to New Jersey punk rock by playing fast light-hearted songs, a model followed by various other local bands.

The four original members grew up in Basking Ridge, NJ and played in smaller bands during high school. Although they decided to forgo college, they also made the decision to move to a college town. New Brunswick, NJ, which is the home of Rutgers University, had a reputation for supporting underground music, and over the years had seen not only musical acts but actors enjoy professional success. The Bouncing Souls not only became a staple in the New Brunswick music scene, but also helped other bands gain an audience by opening up for them in the clubs around town, as well as parties and shows they put on themselves. The band’s name is a reference to Doc Martens shoes, which were a staple of punk dress. To this day, Doc Martens uses the advertising slogan “with Bouncing Soles” for their air-cushioned soles.

Their first full-length album, The Good, The Bad & The Argyle was released in 1994 on Chunksaah Records, their own label. The album was a compilation of several EPs the band had released previously. Two tracks of this record, “Candy” (popularized by The Strangeloves and covered by many other groups) and “What Boys Like” (originally by the Waitresses) served as homage to 1980s new wave while simultaneously striking a humorous jab at homophobia. Their next album, Maniacal Laughter was released in 1996. Half the album was written in a week. It led to a high profile tour with Youth Brigade that got the attention of Epitaph Records.

The Bouncing Souls signed with Epitaph in 1997 and released The Bouncing Souls later that year. While it contains some Bouncing Souls classics like “Cracked”, “Kate is Great”, and “East Coast Fuck You!”, certain tracks on the record are anticlimactic in comparison to their low-fi earlier recordings. Greg himself stated on Do You Remember? 15 Years of the Bouncing Souls that “It’s a CD of unfinished songs.” Hopeless Romantic followed in 1999. Hopeless Romantic has been heralded for admixing poignant lyrics with their melodic rapidly-paced punk style. Soon after the album’s release, personal problems arose between the band and long-time drummer Shal Khichi which resulted in his departure from the band. He was replaced by former Skinnerbox, Mephiskapheles, and Murphy’s Law drummer, Michael McDermott.

How I Spent My Summer Vacation was the first album released with the new line-up. By now, the band had become viewed as seminal to the modern punk sound, with a new generation of fans discovering their earlier releases as they toured with newer bands as well as larger punk acts such as Hot Water Music. 2002 brought a b-sides album, The Bad the Worse and the Out of Print and an acclaimed split with Anti-Flag as part of the BYO Split Series. In 2003, the band released their 6th album Anchors Aweigh, as well as their first DVD, Do You Remember? 15 Years of the Bouncing Souls. In 2004, their cover of “Better Things” by The Kinks was used in the film The Manchurian Candidate. In 2005, they had two live releases, a double CD album, simply titled Live, as well as a DVD, titled Live at the Glasshouse, which was the 19th entry in Kung Fu Films’ The Show Must Go Off! series. The band released their 7th album, titled The Gold Record on June 6th, 2006, or 6/6/06 which the band has called ‘The number of the release,’ in reference to 666, which is known as ‘The number of the beast.’ Also, due to their first full-length record being a collection of previous releases, many fans also consider this to in fact be their 6th studio album, and thus 666 is also partly in reference to this. They then headed out on the 2006 Warped Tour in support of the record, and again three years later, in 2009.

In 2009, the band is releasing 20th Anniversary Series in the form of 12 digital tracks (released at the beginning of each month) and 4 7″ vinyl singles (released once every three months).

The Riverboat Gamblers have been rocking heads for the last decade. The band was formed in 1997 in the town of Denton, TX. The band features Mike Wiebe (the Rookie Sensation) on vocals, Fadi El-Assad(Freddy Castro ) on guitar, Ian MacDougall on guitar, and Rob Marchant on bass.

The band is known for their live shows that will leave concert goers in awe. The band’s energy and stage presence is second to none. See posted videos on this page for proof of these claims.

The band’s newest album “Underneath The Owl” is out now!!! Keep your eyes open for an EP in the near future.

Underneath the Owl is the Riverboat Gamblers’ fourth full-length album. Those intimate with the Gamblers’ previous output will hear the garage DIY scrap and brawl of their self-titled first record, the balls-out rock backbone of Something to Crow About, and the personalized pop apocalypse of To the Confusion of Our Enemies. Worry not. Your needs will be met. All of them. There is a xylophone and it’s okay.

This begs the rhetorical question: do we want our musical heroes to be retarded? Should we demand the same record be released again and again because the last one was so fucking good? There’s a lot to be said about records that couldn’t have been previously made by a band. Let’s just say that death comes in many forms. What kills most people isn’t dramatic. It’s repetition of the same action over and over again. Musical enlightenment is a dodgy proposition. It all hinges on how much is risked. Underneath the Owl is simultaneously like and unlike each Gamblers record that preceded it. Think of yourself at fifteen, then at twenty-five. You’re the same person, but you’re not identical because you’ve learned some stuff, been knocked down and around.

Those who’ve seen the Gamblers live have often mistaken Mike Wiebe as the world’s longest monkey and are often searching for the electrodes that are shocking him throughout the set. Mike’s just feeling the power of awesome that lurks in every nook and cranny as far as his very long microphone chord will allow him to roam during the entire set. Some folks got church. Some got cooking classes or weight lifting. The Gamblers—a collaborative democracy of a band—have themselves. Fadi, Texas’s answer to a wide-stanced Johnny Ramones, handles lead guitar duties. Ian McDougal (formerly of The Kickz) graduated from the best after school program ever. Years back, at eighteen, he joined the Gamblers on rhythm guitar.

True to This Is Spinal Tap, the lifespan of a housefly rivaled that of an average Gamblers’ drummer. Refusing to use a machine, the Gamblers played with a constantly rotating wheel of skin punishers for over a year and a half. In February of 2008, the final piece of the puzzle snapped into place when Dallas stalwart Rob Marchant strapped his bass on, plugged in, rocked out, and filled the considerable shoes of his predecessor.

Recording studios can be a lot like submarines. Most of the time is spent cramped, stuffy, and pressurized for weeks on end. In detached pieces, bombs are nothing. Inert materials. In bits and pieces—even with high grade material—songs are the same. With a Tetris-like assembly, a collaborative group brain, and meticulous attention to detail, all four Gamblers worked closely together to wire Underneath the Owl into the most powerful batch of songs they could. Luckily, it didn’t explode on them when they were putting it together. Make no mistake, the Gamblers are at war. War against easy, encouraged repetition. War against themselves to not release a song that didn’t ring true, even if it had to be re-written five times. “Artistic development” can be such a douchey, pretentious term, but how to explain trying something new, growing without discarding the ideals of what it meant to be a Gambler when the journey started?

From outside the confines of Gamblers’ van/shuttle, it looked like a crazy risk. They leveraged precious time against a fiery, fatal crash in the hopes of reaching further and higher. “Here we go. This is it.” The Gamblers share rock’n'roll that helps people forget what a fucktard their boss is and the ways aplenty the world attacks absolutely. They help their fans lose themselves, if even just until the last bit of sweat evaporates from a soaked shirt, even for just the length of Underneath the Owl’s eleven tracks.

We are a new band featuring members of mostly current, with a couple of non-active, but not broken-up bands like Choking Victim, The Degenerics, Leftover Crack, the Slackers, Nanuchka and Casa de Chihuahua with honorary members from bands like the Bouncing Souls, World/Inferno Friendship Society and the Hold Steady (all of whom play on the two tracks we have decided to debut on this page).

Anyhow, we have what I believe is a talented group of musicians here and we are making an effort to try and mix shit up with our styles of playing and song-writing while keeping the ideas of leftist-politics and ethics of true punk alive (we understand that the definition of “punk” has broadened and in our opinion has been obscenely perverted for years to meet capitalistic ends), but we are not here to exclude people, we don’t care what you do, own, believe in, look like, where you come from or any of that superficial shit.

We plan on playing all-ages shows with the hope of maintaining the interest of “slightly older” folks such as our-selves. What we do or “believe” in does not need to be conformed to by you. We are an ANTI-RACIST, ANTI-SEXIST, ANTI-HOMOPHOBIC & ANTI-FASCIST organization. We are pro-choice, but anti-breeding, we are against any wars that are fought for profit or for the power to enslave people or to destroy the cultures of another race, religious or ethnic group.

We are against nations and their ill-gotten arbitrary borders. We are against the invasion and colonialism perpetrated by crass, brutish governments such our own. We believe only in fighting to defend your people, culture and resources from being raped by international bullies looking to turn a profit at the expense of innocent people and this very planet that gives us life.

WE BELIEVE IN ROCKING YOU!!!

We hope that you rock back.

Whole Wheat Bread is a punk band from Jacksonville, Florida. They formed in 2003 and have so far released two albums and one EP, under the Orlando based record label Fighting Records.

History

Aaron Abraham and Nicholas Largen were friends from Jacksonville, Florida. Abraham knew about Largen, aka DJ Dirtee $skeet through the Jacksonville underground rap scene in which Largen was well known. They met up and discovered that they both listened to not only rap, but also punk music, and decided to form a punk group. It turned out that they both knew how to play guitar, so they instead formed a band playing what they call “Dirty South Punk Rock”. With Abraham on vocals and guitar and Largen on bass, Largen’s brother Joseph was brought in to play drums, opting out of a career in neurosurgery, and Whole Wheat Bread was formed in 2003.

Their first album, Minority Rules, came out in January 2005 on Fighting Records. The album was produced by Darian Rundall, who had previously worked with other punk bands such as Pennywise and Yellowcard. The album reached #8 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers chart. In support of this record, they went on tour with bands such as MxPx, The Suicide Machines, Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto.

Moving On

The rearranged lineup then continued to tour with various acts, including The Bouncing Souls, Street Dogs, and Wu-Tang Clan’s Killah Priest. They then released an EP, Punk Life, in November 2006. The EP included three original songs and 3 “crunk rock” parodies of rap songs. One original track “Symbol of Hope” reflected the events of Hurricane Katrina and the government’s lack of enthusiam to respond to the events. The track also featured backing vocals by Jason Navarro of the Suicide Machines.

More touring occurred throughout 2007, when they also began working on their second full-length album. They are working with producer Travis Huff, who has previously worked with bands such as Fall Out Boy and Yellowcard to produce the album, which was due out Summer 2008 but didn’t come out until January of 2009. Additionally, Whole Wheat Bread also has been working with rapper Lil’ Jon on his anticipated solo album, Crunk Rock. The band is contributing music (guitar, bass, drums, vocals) as well as producing tracks with many well-noted rappers.

Former band member, Nick Largen was arrested in Amherst, New York on counts of armed robbery after attempting to rob money from two locations. It was announced on October 11, 2007 that bass player C.J. Randolph parted ways with Whole Wheat Bread. Whole Wheat Bread now have a complete line-up with the addition of Will Frazier on bass. They released their second album Hearts of Hoodlums on January 6, 2009.

Current Members

Aaron Abraham (aka Nasty Nigga Fleetwood) – guitar, lead vocals
Joseph Largen (aka Mr.Whitefolks) – drums, vocals
Will Frazier – bass, vocals

Making a claim of performing a countless number of shows, while on face value may seem noteworthy, does not necessarily speak to the impact a band is able to make while on the road. Seemingly, since the beginning of rock and roll a band could pack themselves in a van and stay out there as long as their heart and soul could endure countless trucks stops and sub par accommodations. So when it is noted that the band Conditions have played over 200 shows it is certainly a testament to their commitment. Perhaps more impressive though, is the tangible payoff and direct impact this band has been making worldwide while grinding it out show after show. Conditions have sold over 16,000 digital songs and over 3,000 CDs on their own as independent artists. They have shared stages in the US and Europe with the likes of Paramore, New Found Glory, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Good Charlotte. They have earned themselves spots on the Vans Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos, Bamboozle Festival, and SXSW Music Conference. This Richmond, Virginia band attributes much of their current success to experiences they all went through playing in previous bands dating back to their high school days. Touring at such a young age has provided invaluable lessons that are still carried with them to this day. While learning from past mistakes may be paying off in the present, all the wisdom in the world will not make up for a lack of quality songs.

It does not take but one listen to the music of Conditions to quickly understand why they have been able to make fast and lasting impressions on fans. They write songs that are instantly accessible to a listener without any dilution of heart or lack of hard cutting edge. Their commanding stage presence and airtight musicianship during live performances emits a vibrant and impassioned spirit. It is this rare mix of charisma and chops that has allowed Conditions to amass a loyal and supportive fan base from swooning teen pop fans to discerning older rock fans. Those fans purchased 4,000 songs off of their You Are Forgotten EP in the first month of its release. It is exactly that type of zealous fan reaction that has caught the eye of media outlets nationwide. The Alternative Press recently proclaimed the band as one of their “100 bands you need to know in 2010″.

2010 is indeed looming large for Conditions. Their brand new full-length album, “Fluorescent Youth”, is set to be released on September 14th through Good Fight Music. The songs are steeped in hard rock with an infusion of heart felt pop. Track after track finds towering hook laden choruses fit to reign on radio’s airwaves. The vocal prowess of Conditions is on full display as engaging 3-part harmonies sing songs of life, love, and hope. The depth and substance of the lyrical content will assure these high powered pop rock anthems resonate with fans on an authentic and meaningful level. “Fluorescent Youth” is the sure fired vehicle that will skyrocket Conditions into the next strata of stardom.

The band has recorded eight studio albums, four EPs, four compilation albums, a live album, a VHS tape, a DVD and released 20 singles.

The original lineup included Mike Herrera on bass, vocals Andy Husted on guitar (later to be replaced by Tom Wisniewski), and Yuri Ruley on drums.

In September 2006, MxPx and the City of Bremerton started a marketing effort revolving around the band’s song “Move to Bremerton”. Bremerton’s Community Renewal Agency secured rights for the song to be played in a promotional website for the city, and MxPx played a concert at the downtown Admiral Theatre on September 16, 2006 with local bands The Divorce and Ruxton Towers. The band was also given keys to the city by Mayor Cary Bozeman in recognition of their contributions to Bremerton. [10][9]

MxPx spent the majority of 2005 and 2006 touring in support of their 7th album Panic. On November 21, 2006, Tooth & Nail Records re-released “Let It Happen Deluxe Edition” with a bonus DVD featuring 12 music videos, new artwork, photographs and some other goodies.

Let’s Rock, MxPx’s second rarities album, was released on Side One Dummy Records on October 24, 2006. The album consists of many previously unreleased songs, re-recorded b-sides and acoustic demos. A new full-length album from their side project Arthur is slated for a 2007 release.

MxPx spent early 2007 on an international tour through parts of Australia and Europe. In March 2007, MxPx played at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival in Austin, Texas, and from May through June, they headlined the Tooth and Nail Tour, also featuring Hawk Nelson, The Classic Crime, The Fold, Sullivan, Project 86, and Run Kid Run.

The band recently returned from a tour in Brazil with Suicide city, where they co-headlined the 2008 Maquinaria Rock Fest with Sepultura, the Misfits, Biohazard and Suicidal Tendencies.

Also in 2007, MxPx was featured on the labels of 120 limited edition Jones Soda Bottles to promote their July 2007 release, Secret Weapon. They also returned to Tooth and Nail Records. In an interview with Christianitytoday.com Herrera said the band was now free to get back into more of the Christian Market. [11]

Currently, MxPx is touring to promote their latest album, Secret Weapon. Chris Wilson is covering for Yuri as drummer in some shows, as Yuri is looking after his baby daughter.

MxPx toured the United Kingdom with Punchline and The Get Go on the fourth installment of the Good To Go Tour in February 2008. The last show of the 2008 Good To Go Tour which took place at Glasgow’s King Tuts Wah Wah Hut. At this time, during August and September 2008, MxPx joined Lagwagon to play a handful of shows in Canada and the US.

MxPx has released a follow-up to the cover EP On The Cover, which was released on March 24th, 2009. The name of the album is “On The Cover II”, featuring songs covered from fellow punk bands including The Clash and the Descendents.

Drummer Yuri Ruley told ThePunkSite.com that MxPx planned to start writing and recording a ninth album in January 2009,[12] but Mike Herrera more recently stated that there were no immediate plans to do so.

The name ‘Sugarcult’ came from a group of lesbian women that used to live across from the lead singer Tim Pagnotta.

Tim met ex-drummer Ben Davis during a cigarette break at school. Ben (who then played bass) and Tim started to play together on a regular basis until Tim invited Airin Older, a fellow classmate, to join. Ben was moved to the position of drummer and Airin filled in for Ben on bass. Marko DeSantis was added into the band after meeting Tim back stage at a Superdrag concert. The pair apparently met because Tim was wearing a suit that resembled the one Marko wore to the show. Tim asked Marko to join the band before even hearing Marko play a single note on the guitar.

In the Summer of 2004, the critically acclaimed “Vans Warped Tour” featured Sugarcult, who were, in fact, the final band to play at the year’s tour.

After the tour, the Band teamed up with Green Day, and New Found Glory on their tour of the US, and were a huge success.

In 2006, The EA Games title “Burnout 3: Takedown” featured the song “Memory” from the Album “Palm Trees and Power Lines” and was an instant success.

After years of touring and recording, Ben was asked to leave the band due to his extensive alcoholism. Ben has said he would rather be sober out of the band than drunk and still in the band. Kenny Livingston was drafted into the band after recording Palm Trees And Power Lines and touring with the band.
